Aston Villa fans react to owner’s comments

It’s fair to say you Aston Villa fans could be forgiven for feeling a tad pessimistic when it comes to their club’s fortunes after the past few years they’ve had to endure seeing their best players depart, a lack of serious investment, relegation and something of a managerial merry-go-round but finally there seems to be some good news on the horizon as new owner Tony Xia has issued a statement of intention via social media, backing Steve Bruce and also adding that he knows it will take more than just ambition.

Xia knows that Villa fans aren’t happy with a mid-table Championship finish which is where the club is heading this season and if they are to get back in the Premier League and stay there, it’s going to take some big investment from him.
