Aston Villa star man Jack Grealish is desperate to join Manchester United this summer and has decided to leave his club whether they avoid relegation or not, according to StarSport.

There has been much speculation around Grealish joining United this summer, with both manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and chief executive Ed Woodward reportedly both keen to sign the midfielder.

Grealish has been a shining light in a tough season for the Villains as they returned to the Premier League, in some games he has almost single-handedly carried his team through.

Solskjaer has been praised for his work in the transfer market so far.

Still only 24-year-old, Grealish has made 176 appearances for boyhood club since making his first senior appearance in 2012, helping Dean Smith’s side secure promotion from the Championship last season.

Starsport are reporting that Grealish has his ‘heart set’ on joining Manchester United and will leave Villa at the end of this season regardless of his club’s final position.

Villa currently sit in 19th position in the Premier League, with football returning in three days time.
