When your side loses all three of their Premier League matches in a month, scoring just once, to leave them bottom of the table, it is always hard to pick out a stand out player.

However, one person that did make an impact was summer signing, Ayew, who opened the scoring in their 2-1 defeat to Swansea.

New Villa boss Remi Garde will need the Ghanaian to find some more goals if he is to save the club from a relegation battle this season.
