Barcelona have reignited their interest in Chelsea’s Willian and held talks with the winger’s representatives, according to La Sexta via the Metro.

The Spanish giants already made three unsuccessful bids in the summer for the 30-year-old, including a £55million pound offer which was turned down by the West London club.

Fans of rivals Tottenham and Arsenal will now be on red alert, with rumours Malcolm could be offered to Chelsea to pave a way for a possible transfer.

This would be a bitter blow to the north London duo as reports suggest the Brazilian is on the January wish-list for both Unai Emery and Mauricio Pochettino.

Malcom was sensational for Bordeaux last term.

Following his sensational form in Ligue 1 last term, the Catalan club signed Malcolm for £36.5million in the summer but the 21-year-old has played just 25 minutes of football in La Liga.

Willian on the other hand has continued his good form for Chelsea, helping the club to second in the Premier League and just two points behind leaders Manchester City.

The Blues had already shown their interest in Malcom before his move to Spain, so talks of a potential swap deal would certainly increase the chance of a big-money transfer in January.
