Spanish giants Barcelona are looking to bring Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen to the Nou Camp this summer, according to The Mirror.

The 25-year-old has again been in outstanding form for Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season, scoring 11 goals and laying on 20 assists in 43 appearances in all competitions as Spurs make a late charge at the Premier League title.

The Denmark international produced another marvellous display in their FA Cup semi-final defeat to Chelsea on Saturday, with the midfielder providing the cross from which Harry Kane headed home, before whipping in an unbelievable delivery for Dele Alli to net in the second half.

Although it wasn’t enough to inspire Pochettino’s men past the Blues yesterday, Eriksen was again the man that made Tottenham tick in the final third, and his recurrent impressive performances in North London this term has alerted Luis Enrique’s Barcelona.

The Catalans have had an underwhelming campaign so far which has seen them go out of the Champions League at the hands of Juventus last week, in which they failed to net in both games, and they currently sit three points behind Real Madrid in the La Liga table having played a game more.

And with manager Enrique ending his three-year stint as boss this summer, there looks set to be some big changes at the Nou Camp, and one could see Eriksen join the European giants as they begin a new era next season.
