Tottenham Hotspur make the short trip across the capital to face London rivals Brentford on New Year’s Day.

The Lilywhites have endured a difficult season so far under new manager Thomas Frank, with his side sitting 11th in the Premier League after 18 games.

Now, the Dane returns to the side he left to take charge of Spurs, and the Bees will be desperate to get the better of their former manager.

In the meantime, however, it appears that one of Tottenham’s most promising young players is attracting interest from one of the biggest clubs in Europe.

As per CaughtOffside, Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are monitoring Tottenham star Luka Vuskovic, who is currently on loan at fellow German side Hamburg.

The report claims that the German giants have made an informal enquiry about the centre-back, who has been in fine form so far this term having joined Hamburg on a season-long loan deal over the summer.

Vuskovic has so far made 15 appearances for Hamburg across all competitions, but is yet to make his senior debut for Spurs having joined the club from Croatian side Hajduk Split earlier this year and been sent immediately on loan to Germany.

It is claimed that Bundesliga side RB Leipzig are also interested in the central defender, however Tottenham have made it clear that they are not considering selling the Croatian at present.

Instead, the north London outfit view Vuskovic as a player that could play an integral role for the club in the years to come.

Vuskovic is under contract at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium until the end of the 2029/30 campaign, with puts the Premier League side in a commanding position during any potential negotiations.
