After two transfer windows with no activity, Tottenham fans finally got the big signing they were waiting for when Tanguy Ndombele arrived for a club-record £55million.

The 22-year-old’s seven assists in 34 league appearances helped Lyon reach third spot in Ligue 1.

Also impressing in the Champions League, the France international contributed with two important goals in the group stages.

France boss Didier Deschamps gave the centre-midfielder his international debut in November and he has gone on to make five more appearances for Les Bleus since.
