Bolton Wanderers are reportedly interested in AFC Bournemouth’s out-of-favour striker Yann Kermorgant.

Despite signing a new deal at the Goldsands Stadium over the summer; the former Charlton Athletic hitman has made only two Premier League appearances for the Cherries this term, alerting the Trotters to enquire about his availability on a possible loan deal.

The 33-year-old, who joined Eddie Howe’s side from the Addicks on transfer deadline day back in January 2014, scored an impressive 17 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions during Bournemouth’s Championship winning campaign.

However manager Howe’s decision to allow Kermorgant more first-team opportunities away from the Premier League newboys may have already been made following the serious looking injury suffered to star striker Callum Wilson against Stoke City on Saturday.
