Bolton hopeful of landing fellow Championship striker

Bolton Wanderers are looking to sign Charlton Athletic striker Igor Vetokele on loan.

The Angola international initially impressed following his switch from Copenhagen in the summer of 2014 but has since struggled for fitness.

Trotters boss Neil Lennon is desperate to bolster his attacking options and after missing out on Swansea’s Marvin Emnes is now looking to land Vetokele.

It will be a surprise if the South London side let the 23-year-old depart The Valley as they have a small squad which is currently struggling with injuries.
