Arsenal kept the pressure up on Premier League leaders Arsenal with a hard fought 2-0 win over Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners – who occupied first place for much of the season before being knocked off their perch by City last week – now sit just a point behind the reigning champions although they have played one more game than their rivals.

Next up for Mikel Arteta’s side is a potentially tricky fixture against high-flying Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday, but in the meantime it appears that the Gunners have been handed a boost ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

As per 90min, Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic is keen on the idea of joining a Premier League club this summer.

The report claims that the Serbia international’s representatives have told Premier League clubs that he is interested in a move to England.

Both Arsenal and Chelsea have previously been linked with the Serbian forward, while the report also claims that he was offered to Manchester United in January.

The Red Devils are in the market for a new striker and have been linked with Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen.

Vlahovic is reportedly keen on the idea of a move to the Premier League

Vlahovic, 23, joined the Serie A side from rivals Fiorentina in January last year and has since made 59 appearances for the club, scoring 22 goals and providing six assists across all competitions.

This season, he has scored 13 goals in 38 appearances across all competitions, although he has scored just twice in his last 13 games in Serie A.

Newcastle United and Aston Villa are also said to be considering a move for Vlahovic, who is contracted to his current side until the summer of 2026.

Chelsea are set to be in the market for a new striker this summer in a bid to resolve their issues in front of goal.

So far this season, the Blues have scored just 34 goals in the Premier League, with the likes of Kai Havertz and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang struggling in front of goal.
