Bournemouth have reportedly been rebuffed in their attempts to re-sign striker Lewis Grabban from Norwich City.

Cherries boss Eddie Howe is desperate to bring in an attacker before the transfer window closes but his two bids for his former player have been turned down by their newly-promoted Premier League rivals.

The 27-year-old netted 35 goals in 93 appearances during his time at Dean Court from 2012-2014, before making the move to Norfolk for an undisclosed fee.

Grabban, who was an unused substitute for the Canaries in their 1-1 draw with Stoke on Saturday, netted 12 goals in 36 matches last term as Alex Neil’s side secured promotion back to the top flight.
