AFC Bournemouth have been reportedly linked with a double swoop for Napoli stars Jonathan de Guzman and Juan Zuniga.
The newly promoted Premier League side, who defeated defending champions Chelsea and Manchester United in a space of a week, are reportedly close to agreeing deals with the midfielder and full-back ahead of the forthcoming January transfer window.
De Guzman, 28; who has 14 international caps for the Netherlands, has failed to make a single appearance for the Serie A side so far this season.
Meanwhile Zuniga, 30; who has made over 50 appearances for his native Colombia, has also been unable to establish himself in the first-team squad, despite being able to play on both flanks.
If Eddie Howe’s Cherries do manage to secure the signing of De Guzman, it will be the Dutch midfielder’s second stint in the Premier League having scored 15 goals in 93 appearances for Swansea City during his loan spell at the Liberty Stadium between 2012 and 2014.
