AFC Bournemouth are reportedly interested in signing former England international Rob Green during the January transfer window, according to the London Evening Standard.

The Premier League side, who currently sit just three points above the bottom three, are thought to be keen on bringing in another goalkeeper this month due to the underwhelming performances of Artur Boruc and Adam Federici this term.

The 35-year-old, who has 12 international caps for the Three Lions, has kept nine clean sheets in 25 appearances in all competitions for Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers this season.

However Green; who has been replaced in goal by manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink in the last two games by 20-year-old Joe Lumley, is reportedly on £40,000-a-week, with QPR keen to offload his large salary this month.
