AFC Bournemouth are reportedly considering making an audacious offer for Italy international forward Stephan El Shaarawy.

The newly-promoted Premier League side, who sit four points above the bottom three after their goalless encounter against Leicester City at the weekend, are thought to be willing to meet the AC Milan winger’s €14m evaluation this month.

The 23-year-old, who has 17 international caps for his country, has scored three goals in 24 appearances in all competitions for French outfit AS Monaco this season.

El Shaarawy, who has been on loan with the Ligue 1 side since the summer, is reported to be heading back to the San Siro in January in order to be moved on once again by the Italian giants.

After acquiring Roma winger Juan Manuel Iturbe earlier this window; it seems Cherries boss Eddie Howe is tempted to make another ambitious move for the Milan forward this time, who is currently being left out of the Monaco first-team in order to avoid triggering a clause to purchase him outright.
