AFC Bournemouth are reportedly ready to make a January move for Hull City defender Curtis Davies.

The newly promoted Premier League side, who have defeated Chelsea and Manchester United in their last two fixtures, are thought to be weighing up a £3m offer for the Championship star in the forthcoming transfer window.

The 30-year-old, who arrived at the KC Stadium from Birmingham City back in June 2013, has played 17 league games for Steve Bruce’s Tigers, who currently lie fourth in the English second-tier.

With Davies current deal set to expire at the end of the campaign, Hull may consider settling for the £3m fee rather than avoid losing him on a free in the summer.
