Bournemouth turn their attention to €25m-rated Colombia striker

AFC Bournemouth have reportedly set their sights on signing Colombia international striker Luis Muriel during the January transfer window.

The newly-promoted Premier League side, who face Birmingham City in the FA Cup on Saturday, have identified the Sampdoria hitman as their latest transfer target to help fire them to safety this term.

The 24-year-old, who has eight international caps to his name, has scored five goals in 20 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A outfit this season.

Muriel, who joined Sampdoria from Udinese only 12 months ago, is understood to have a buy-out clause of €25m.
