After a promising stint earlier in the season, newly-promoted Bournemouth have struggled of late after suffering a number of long-term injuries.

One of those players to be ruled out for a number of months is star striker Callum Wilson, who played a the leading role in the Cherries’ highlight of the season.

Wilson scored his first Premier League goals at West Ham

After losing their opening two Premier League matches, the Dorset side secured their first ever top flight win with a 4-3 victory at West Ham, with that man Wilson netting a hat-trick.

The 23-year-old forward, who had five goals in seven appearances, has been dearly missed and is not expected to return until April with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
