Maybe if Callum Wilson didn’t suffer his long-term injury we may have seen him make a late surge for the England squad. But due to the striker’s rotten luck, the only man that could travel to France next summer is midfielder Harry Arter. The 25-year-old broke into the squad after his fantastic form for the Cherries last season but has since struggled with injuries. Now back and raring to go though, the former Charlton man has a chance to force his way into Martin O’Neill’s XI next summer.
