Chelsea will be looking for a third consecutive victory when they travel to Leicester on Saturday.

The Blues beat Leeds United 1-0 in their last Premier League outing, before producing a fine display to overcome Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday.

They now face a Foxes side that have been in poor form of late, winning just twice in their last ten league games.

Chelsea look set to overhaul their squad this summer, with no fewer than 16 permanent signings having arrived at Stamford Bridge since Todd Boehly took charge of the club last summer.

A number of players could be moved on, while The Blues could once again look to bolster their squad with new additions.

One player that has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge is Brentford ‘keeper David Raya, but it appears that a deal could prove tricky.

According to 90min, The Bees will stand firm on their stance in relation to Raya, and will not allow him to leave unless they receive a suitable offer.

The likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid have all been linked with Raya in recent months, but they may have to pay a premium to sign the shot-stopper.

Raya’s future at Brentford looks increasingly uncertain

The Spanish ‘keeper has established himself as one of the best in his position in the Premier League since the start of last season, but he faces an uncertain future at Brentford.

The 27-year-old’s current contract is set to expire at the end of next season, meaning that the upcoming summer transfer window could represent Brentford’s last chance to command a significant fee for the player.

According to the report, though, The Bees will now allow the two-time Spain international to leave unless their valuation is met, and the club are also said to be willing to let him leave for free next summer if no suitable offers are made.

Raya joined Brentford from Championship club Blackburn Rovers back in 2019 and played a crucial role as The Bees earned promotion to the Premier League for the first time ever in 2021.

He has been impressive since Brentford were promoted, but his future in west London looks increasingly uncertain, with the player himself having recently revealed that he has rejected two new contract offers from his current employers.

The player admitted that he wants to play in European competition and compete for titles, and a move to the likes of Chelsea, United or Atletico could potentially offer him exactly that.

It is also claimed that Brentford would allow Raya, who has made more than 140 appearances for the club, to leave for a fee of around £30 million.
