Bristol City are reportedly interested in signing Crystal Palace midfielder Jonathan Williams.
The Premier League side are believed to be keen on allowing Williams to join a Championship club on loan until January in the aim of more first-team action.
The 21-year-old, who has seven international caps for Wales, scored one goal in seven games during his third consecutive loan spell at Ipswich Town last season.
Williams also made two Premier League appearances for Alan Pardew’s Eagles last term, but the youth academy graduate has slipped further down the pecking order this summer following the arrival of Yohan Cabaye from Paris Saint-Germain.
However newly promoted Bristol City, who lost 2-0 at Sheffield Wednesday on the opening day of the season, face stiff competition from Championship rivals Fulham and Wolverhampton Wanderers for the Wales midfielder’s services.
