Bristol City, Leeds United and Queens Park Rangers are all reportedly weighing up moves for Scotland international defender Steven Whittaker, according to HITC Sport.

The Championship trio have been put on high alert after Premier League side Norwich City brought in fellow right-back Ivo Pinto from Dinamo Zagreb earlier this month to push Whittaker further down the pecking order at Carrow Road this term.

The 31-year-old, who has 29 international caps for his country, has scored one goal in eight league appearances for Alex Neil’s side this season.

Whittaker, who has seemingly lost his place to Russell Martin over the course of the campaign, could now be offloaded by Norwich this month as they may feel they have enough options at full-back to cover his departure.
