Career in pictures: Former Liverpool and Chelsea striker Fernando Torres

Move to Liverpool (July 2007)

After a fine time in the Spanish capital, Torres sealed a move to Premier League giants Liverpool in the summer of 2007.

The striker was brought in by manager Rafael Benitez, as the Reds boss looked to bolster his squad after finishing runners-up in the Champions League in 2006, and finishing third in the Premier League.
