Celtic fans react to Rodgers Solanke comments

Brendan Rodgers has praised Celtic target Dominic Solanke describing the 19 year-old as a ‘fantastic talent.’

The Chelsea striker has been linked with a move to Parkhead after failing to renew his contract at Stamford Bridge and is a player Rodgers knows well from his time working with youngsters at Stamford Bridge.

Solanke could follow in the footsteps of players like Patrick Roberts and Moussa Dembele – youngsters who’ve blossomed in the Scottish Premiership and gained valuable experience they might not have got at an English Premier League club.

Celtic have some good young talent at the club with the likes of Michael Johnston and Anthony Ralston and if it’s possible to acquire his services England under 19 star Solanke would be a welcome addition.

Brendan has knew Solanke since he was 8 years old it was Brendan that brought him into Chelseas youth academy.
