“Who?” is something repeatedly heard by all football supporters during pre-season.

With many senior players still on holiday after tough domestic and international seasons, the youth academy players more often than not make up the bulk of all pre-season first XIs and squads.

However, Tottenham Hotspur manager Nuno Espirito Santo raised some eyebrows when he played a very experienced team in a pre-season friendly away to MK Dons.

Goals from Dele Alli, Lucas Moura, and Son Heung-Min secured a comprehensive 3-1 victory over the League One side.

Pre-season is as much about building momentum as it is freshening players up ready for the new season, and the former Wolves manager enjoyed a strong team performances.

But, they could soon be finding themselves short in the goalkeeper department as 90min.com reports Celtic could launch a bid to bring Joe Hart to Scotland.

Hart won two Premier League titles when playing for Manchester City.

The ex-Manchester City stopper joined the North Londoners as a free agent last season in a bid to inject leadership and experience behind Hugo Lloris in the goalkeeping ranks.

The 34-year-old, who also has 75 caps for England, still has two years left on his contract at Spurs, but it is believed talks are ongoing between the two clubs.

Celtic were knocked out of the Champions League qualifiers by Danish side Midtjylland, who progressed over the Bhoys 3-2 on aggregate.

It was another blow for new manager Ange Postecoglou who has bemoaned his side’s lack of transfer activity and squad depth in recent weeks.

The Australian boss has a huge job on his hands if they are to catch up with arch-rivals Rangers, who waltzed to the title last season.
