Tuesday sees the highly anticipated clash between Arsenal and German champions Bayern Munich at the Emirates.

With the North London club sitting bottom of Group F, having lost their two opening games to Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiacos, they’ll need to win if they stand any realistic chance of qualifying

French defender Laurent Koscielny will be given the toughest task in world football come Tuesday night; trying to somehow stop Polish striker Robert Lewandowki who is in the form of his life. The prolific forward has scored a staggering 22 goals for club and country already this season (it’s only October!)

Add this to the fact that the Arsenal centre half is only just returning to full fitness after a hamstring injury suffered in said defeat to Olympiacos back in September, Bayern’s deadly front line of Lewandowski, Douglas Costa and Thomas Muller could run riot at the Emirates.

We take a look at how both Koscielny and Lewandowski have fared so far this season in their respective leagues.
