Manchester United suffered another disappointing result on Tuesday as they were held to a 1-1 draw by the Premier League’s bottom side, Wolves.

Joshua Zirkzee had put the Red Devils in front at Old Trafford, but Ladislav Krejci equalised for Rob Edwards’ side on the stroke of half-time.

Neither side wear able to find a winner in the second period, meaning Wolves picked up just their third point of the league season so far.

The result leaves Ruben Amorim’s side sixth in the top flight standings, and the Portuguese will want to see his side improve when they face old rivals Leeds United on Sunday afternoon.

Ahead of the game, it has emerged that one member of Amorim’s squad is attracting interest from a Champions League club.

As reported by CaughtOffside, Turkish side Galatasaray are hoping to sign Man United midfielder Manuel Ugarte.

The report claims that the Super Lig giants are hoping to sign the midfielder on a loan deal for the remainder of the current campaign, which would also include an option-to-buy clause for a fee of around £15 million.

Ugarte, 24, joined the Red Devils from French champions Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2024 and has since struggled for consistency in Manchester.

In total he has now made 58 appearances for the club across all competitions, but so far this term he has started just four of United’s 18 Premier League games.

The report claims that Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk is keen to add intensity to his midfield, and Ugarte has been identified as one of his top transfer targets.

It is claimed that the Turkish side are hoping to agree a deal with United that would see the two clubs share Ugarte’s wages, with performance related clauses determining whether or not the option-to-buy clause is triggered.
