Championship loan awaits for Manchester United midfielder

Manchester United are reportedly ready to let Nick Powell join a Championship club on loan.

The attacking midfielder has been sidelined with a knee injury for the past seven months, but is now ready to return to first-team action, with the Red Devils eager for Powell to return to full fitness whilst on loan.

The 21-year-old, who arrived at Old Trafford from Crewe Alexandra in a deal that could rise to £6m back in 2012, has only managed to find the back of the net once in seven first-team appearances for United.

Powell is poised to join a third club whilst on loan from the Old Trafford outfit, having previously enjoyed stints at Leicester City and Wigan Athletic respectively in the past two years.
