Leeds United will be looking to leapfrog promotion rivals Huddersfield and go back to third in the Championship when they host Nottingham Forest at Elland Road on Wednesday night.

Gary Monk’s side have proppelled themselves into contention for a return to the Premier League for the first time since they were relegated from the top flight in 2004.

Forest, who sacked manager Philippe Montanier earlier this month, travel to Elland Road off the back of their first league win in eight outings, when they beat Bristol City at the weekend, under the guise of caretaker manager Gary Brazil.

The Reds currently sit five points clear of the drop, in 19th, and could jump to 16th with only their third win on the road this season.

Monk meanwhile, will be looking to keep pressure on those around him also vying for an automatic place, and could close the gap to second-placed Brighton to six points with a win at home on Wednesday.

Both managers will be turning to their forward men in Chris Wood and Britt Assombalonga to grab the three points at Elland Road, but how do the pair stack up against each other? Take a look…
