Chelsea and Arsenal are set to battle it out for Real Madrid flop Luka Jovic this summer, according to the Metro

Recent news stated that Jovic has recently landed himself in trouble for breaking lockdown rules surrounding the Coronavirus global pandemic.

On the pitch things haven’t been much better for the Serbian as he has managed just two goals for Real Madrid this season following his £50million summer switch.

Arteta wants to add to his Arsenal squad in the summer.

The Metro have recently reported that Madrid are willing to let Jovic go this summer with the Serbia international offered to Frank Lampard’s Chelsea.

However, things will not be as simple as that, as Chelsea’s London rivals Arsenal also seem to have thrown their hat in the ring with boss Arteta a big fan of Jovic.

With the possibility of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leaving the club, Arteta will be keen to secure another world-class striker as he looks to make the Gunners a top four Premier League outfit once again.
