Chelsea produced a stunning comeback to beat Manchester United in an enthralling game on Thursday night.

The Blues raced into a 2-0 lead inside 20 minutes at Stamford Bridge, courtesy of goals from Conor Gallagher and Cole Palmer.

United were then gifted a lifeline by Moises Caicedo, with Alejandro Garnacho taking full advantage, before Bruno Fernandes headed the Red Devils level.

The visitors then went ahead when Garnacho grabbed his second, and Erik ten Hag’s side looked to be cruising to a memorable victory.

The Blues were then awarded a penalty in the eighth minute of added time, with Palmer duly dispatching his second spot-kick of the match, before his deflected effort beat Andre Onana to put the hosts 4-3 up and spark wild celebrations inside Stamford Bridge.

Mauricio Pochettino will be extremely relieved that his side emerged victorious, but off the pitch it appears that the West London side could be ready to spend big once again.

Vinicius has established himself as one of the best attackers in world football

As per El Debate via TransferNewsLive, both Chelsea and Liverpool would be willing to spend big in order to sign Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior this summer.

Vinicius, 23, has been regarded as one of the best forwards in Europe for several seasons now.

The Brazilian joined Real from Flamengo in 2018 and has since made more than 250 appearances for the Spanish side across all competitions.

In that time he has scored 77 goals, as well as providing 72 assists.

The report claims that the two Premier League sides, as well as French champions Paris Saint-Germain, are hoping to take advantage of Kylian Mbappe’s imminent arrival in the Spanish capital.

All three sides would be willing to part ways with more than £170 million in order to land the Brazil international, who has scored three goals in 28 games for his country at senior level.
