Manchester City face rivals Liverpool when they return to Premier League action at the start of April.

Pep Guardiola’s side currently sit eight points behind league leaders Arsenal, who have played a game more than the reigning champions.

City will face a Liverpool side that are in pursuit of a place in the top four as they look to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Regardless of whether or not they are successful in their defence of the Premier League title, it appears that City could be active in the transfer market this summer.

Now, it appears that City are one of a number of clubs interested in a Serie A youngster.

As per 90min, several Premier League clubs are interested in Juventus’ Samuel Iling-Junior.

The report claims that the likes of City, Chelsea and Newcastle United are all keeping tabs on the 19-year-old, who has been capped by England at under-20 level.

Iling-Junior (centre) is attracting interest from clubs across Europe

The teenager spent time with Chelsea as a youngster before joining Juventus in 2020 after nine years in west London.

When joining the Italian side, Iling-Junior reportedly rejected interest from several huge European clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

The winger made his senior debut for Juventus last year, and has now made 11 appearances for the club and provided two assists.

Earlier this month, the forward scored for England under-20s during a 2-0 win over Germany.

Newcastle, City and Chelsea are said to be interested in the player and could be tempted to make a move for him amid Juventus’ ongoing financial difficulties.

Bayern and Dortmund are also said to remain interested in the Englishman, who is contracted to his current club until 2025 having recently signed a new deal.
