Chelsea and Manchester City are both in the running to land Argentina international Javier Pastore, according to Get French Football News.

The Premier League giants, who currently sit tenth and third in the English top-flight standings respectively following the weekend’s action, are ready to offer the central midfielder a way out of already crowned French champions Paris Saint-Germain once the 2015-16 campaign has drawn to a close.

The 26-year-old, who has 27 international caps for his country, has scored two goals and provided four assists in 22 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit so far this season.

Pastore, who arrived in the French capital back in August 2011 from Italian club Palermo, is reportedly unhappy with his current situation at PSG and is keen to leave this summer.

“He has started thinking about leaving the club for the first time,” a source told Get French Football News.

However Chelsea and City will face stiff competition for Pastore’s services, with the likes of FC Barcelona, Juventus and FC Bayern Munich also said to be interested.
