Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will be preparing his side for their FA Cup final against rivals Manchester City on Saturday.

The Red Devils have already lifted the Carabao Cup this term, while City have the Premier League title in the bag and also have the opportunity to secure a first ever Champions League triumph next week against Inter Milan.

Ten Hag, who joined United from Dutch side Ajax last summer, has enjoyed an impressive debut campaign in Manchester.

Having guided his side to a third place finish in the Premier League, Ten Hag has ensured that United will compete in the Champions League next term, and with that in mind he will likely want to bolster his squad this summer.

Now, it appears that one of the club’s targets has told his current employers that he wishes to leave.

As per 90min, Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has asked the club for a move away this summer.

Vlahovic has scored 14 goals this season

Vlahovic, 23, joined Juventus from fellow Serie A side Fiorentina in January last year and made an instant impact, scoring six goals in his first ten league games for the club.

This season the Serbia international hasn’t been quite so prolific, though, netting just 14 times in 42 matches across all competitions so far.

Despite his relatively poor form this season, United are said to have retained their interest in Vlahovic and regard him as one of their first choice options ahead of the transfer window, alongside the likes of Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen and Lautaro Martinez.

Chelsea are also said to be interested in Vlahovic as they search for a striker to end their problems in front of goal, while German champions Bayern Munich could also provide competition for the Serbian’s signature.

The striker is contracted to the Italian club until the summer of 2026, though, and the report suggests that Juventus have told Vlahovic to wait until their managerial issues are resolved before making a decision on his future.

Current Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri faces an uncertain future at the club after an underwhelming couple of seasons, but Vlahovic is said to be adamant that he wants to leave Turin.
