Chelsea close in on eye-watering £100million double deal for Philippe Coutinho and Porto’s Alex Telles, according to the Daily Express

The double deal would provide a huge boost to the West London team who have fallen a long way short of Premier League runaway leaders Liverpool this season.

The Daily Express have touted Italian journalist Nicolo Schira as claiming that Frank Lampard’s team are in a strong position to sign the players due to the club’s relationship with the agents.

Lampard is reportedly on the lookout for new players.

Telles currently plays his football for Porto and the 27-year-old is a well-regarded left footed defender who brings a lot of composure to his game.

Coutinho, currently on loan at Bayern Munich from Barcelona is well known to the Premier League and is a proven performer at the very top level.

The Brazilian duo are both 27 years of age, they are coming to the peak of their careers and will be two huge acquisitions for Chelsea as they look to build next season.
