Chelsea closely monitoring 14-goal Premier League hotshot

Chelsea are reportedly closely monitoring Nigeria international Odion Ighalo this term, according to the Mirror.

The defending Premier League champions, who recorded a last-gasp 3-3 draw against Everton at the weekend, have been thoroughly impressed by the in-form Watford forward’s performances this campaign in the English top-flight.

The 26-year-old, who has five international caps for his country, has scored a sensational 14 goals in 22 league appearances for the newly promoted Hornets this season.

Ighalo, who joined Quique Sanchez Flores’ side on a free transfer from Udinese back in October 2014, is also said to be attracting interest from La Liga giants Atletico Madrid this summer.
