Chelsea will be hoping to record a second Premier League win of the season when they welcome Aston Villa to Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

New manager Mauricio Pochettino has endured a frustrating start to his tenure at the club, with the Blues having picked up just five points from as many games so far.

Arguably Chelsea’s biggest problem of late has been scoring goals, with the Blues having netted just 43 times in as many games since the start of last term.

The likes of Mykhaylo Mudryk, Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke have all struggled in front of goal, and it appears that the former could now be loaned out.

According to Fichajes via CaughtOffside, Mudryk could be loaned out in January in an effort to help him recreate his best form.

The 22-year-old joined Chelsea from Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk in January for a fee of around £88 million, but he has struggled since arriving in London.

Mudryk could be loaned out despite only joining Chelsea in January

In total the Ukraine international has made 21 appearances across all competitions for the Blues, but he is yet to score a goal for his new club.

So far this season Mudryk has made four league appearances but has struggled to make an impact for Pochettino’s side.

The report claims that a number of unnamed teams would be interested in signing Mudryk on loan when the transfer window reopens.

When joining the club earlier this year, the Ukrainian signed a long-term contract that is set to run until 2031.

During his time with Shakhtar, the winger scored 12 goals and registered 17 assists in 44 games across all competitions.

He had been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea’s rivals Arsenal, but the Blues hijacked the proposed deal late on and he instead headed to West London.
