Chelsea could reportedly offload Serbia international Nemanja Matic this summer, according to ESPN FC.

The Premier League side; who could only finish tenth in the English top-flight standings after a miserable defence of their 2015 title, secured the £32m capture of Leicester City’s N’Golo Kante earlier this week, meaning fellow midfielder Matic could be forced out of Stamford Bridge ahead of the upcoming 2016/17 campaign.

The 27-year-old, who has 28 international caps for his country, scored two goals and provided three assists in 43 appearances in all competitions for the Blues last season.

The report suggests that Serie A champions Juventus are keen on luring the Serbian star to Turin this summer, with Chelsea understood to be ready to listen to offers of around £15m for the former Benfica player.

Following Kante’s arrival, Matic is expected to fall down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge under new boss Antonio Conte and could be tempted in a summer switch to the Italian top-flight instead.
