Chelsea have completed the £32 million signing of Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante on a five-year deal.

The 25-year-old was a key part of the Foxes’ historic Premier League title win last season, finishing the campaign with the most tackles and interceptions in the top-flight, but he has decided to move on to pastures new with the 2014/15 champions.

On completing his move, Kante told chelseafc.com: “I am so happy to have signed for one of the biggest clubs in Europe. It’s a dream come true for me.

‘The opportunity to work with Antonio Conte, a brilliant coach, and some of the best players in the world was simply too good to turn down.”

The France international, who was part of his nation’s squad as they finished runners-up to Portugal at Euro 2016 this summer, is the second arrival at Stamford Bridge this summer, following in the footsteps of Michy Batshuayi from Marseille.
