Chelsea could make a summer move to re-sign Jeremie Boga from Sassuolo, according to reports.

The Blues sold the winger to the Serie A outfit for £3million in 2018 and he has since scored nine times in 49 matches.

However, the Italian side’s president, Giovanni Carnevali, told Goal that he thinks the West London club could activate the 23-year-old’s buy-back clause.

“Chelsea can redeem him in June,” said Carnevali.

“We have a great relationship with the club and we already met them before Christmas – also for other business.

“We like to have what we have with Barcelona, to have a collaborative relationship.

“They can take him back but we can also re-sign him, everything is open.”

Boga, who is also thought to be interesting Napoli, won the FA Youth Cup with Chelsea in 2014 and 2015 but made just one first-team appearance.
