Chelsea’s final game of 2025 ended in a 2-2 draw against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.

The Blues had been held to a goalless draw by the Cherries on the south coast less than a month ago, but the deadlock was broken after just six minutes this time around when David Brooks put the visitors ahead.

Cole Palmer soon levelled for the Blues from the penalty spot, before Enzo Fernandez put the hosts in front.

Bournemouth were level against before half-time, though, with Justin Kluivert finding the back of the net from close range.

That result leaves Enzo Maresca’s side fifth in the Premier League table as we head into 2026, with a daunting trip to face Manchester City awaiting on Sunday.

In the meantime, with the January transfer window opening on Thursday, it has emerged that one Chelsea player is keen to move to Italy.

According to BILD, via CaughtOffside, German side Borussia Dortmund are interested in Chelsea centre-back Axel Disasi, however the player himself is keen to move to Italy.

The report claims that Dortmund have identified the Frenchman as a possible transfer target ahead of the January window, however the player favours a potential move to Roma.

The Serie A outfit are said to have already revealed their interest in the central defender, who is yet to make a single appearance so far this term.

Disasi, 27, joined the Blues from French side Monaco in 2023 but, after a relatively positive start to life at Stanford Bridge, he has fallen out of favour under Maresca.

The defender was sent on loan to Aston Villa for the second half of last campaign, and has since been training separately from Chelsea’s senior squad.

Disasi is said to be keen on the idea of a move to Roma, having been linked with a move away from west London during the recent summer transfer window.
