Chelsea finished the season strongly with a 2-1 win over Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Goals from Moises Caicedo and Raheem Sterling were enough to earn the Blues’ all three points on the final day of the Premier League season, meaning that Mauricio Pochettino’s side finished the campaign with five consecutive league victories.

This summer is set to be a significant one at Stamford Bridge, with the club’s chiefs set to be busy in the transfer market once again.

Now, it appears that the West London outfit are prepared to sell one of their homegrown stars.

As reported by Football Insider, Chelsea are prepared to listen to offers for defender Trevoh Chalobah during the upcoming transfer window.

Chalobah, 24, is a product of the Blues’ fruitful youth academy and made his senior debut at the start of the 2021/22 campaign.

Chalobah faces an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge

The centre-back has now played 80 times for his boyhood club across all competitions, establishing himself as an important player for Pochettino during the final weeks of the recent season having missed much of the campaign due to injury.

Chalobah was linked with a move away from West London last summer and also in January, but he stayed put and started Chelsea’s final six Premier League games of the season.

The report claims that Chelsea need to offload players this summer in an effort to adhere to the division’s profit and sustainability regulations, and Chalobah is one of those most likely to depart.

The Englishman’s current contract with the Blues is set to run until the end of the 2027/28 campaign.

During his time in the senior setup at Stamford Bridge, Chalobah has won the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
