Galatasaray are reportedly ready to offer Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel a way out of the Premier League.

The Nigerian has struggled to force his way into boss Jose Mourinho’s first-team plans so far this campaign, alerting the Turkish giants to his availability ahead of next month’s transfer window.

The 28-year-old, who arrived at Stamford Bridge from Norwegian outfit Lyn back in 2006, has started just one of his five Premier League games for the Blues so far this season.

Mikel, who has 64 international caps to his name, is being tipped to be offered a two-year deal by Galatasaray in January, although fierce rivals Fenerbahce are also thought to be interested in the Nigeria midfielder’s services.
