Chelsea will face Irish side Shamrock Rovers in the League Phase of the Europa Conference League.

The Blues were drawn against Rovers as well as Belgian side Gent, German outfit Heidenheim, Kazakhstani side Astana, Greek top slight side Panathinaikos and Armenian club Noah.

The new-look Conference League follows a similar format to the Champions League and Europa League, which have also been reformed.

Chelsea have been one of the Premier League’s busiest clubs so far this transfer window, although it appears that one of their new rivals could already be on his way out of Stamford Bridge.

As per Football Insider, forward Omari Kellyman is set to join League One side Birmingham City on loan just weeks after arriving at the club.

Kellyman, 18, joined the Blues from Villa earlier this summer in a deal worth around £19 million, having signed for the Villans from Derby County two years ago.

Kellyman joined Chelsea from Aston Villa this summer but could soon return to rivals Birmingham City

The attacker has made two appearances for the Blues’ Under-21s in the Premier League 2.

He hasn’t been involved in any of the Blues’ four games so far this term, though, and the report claims that he is now set to move to St. Andrews for the remainder of the season.

It is claimed that Kellyman is a target for Birmingham as they look to continue bolstering their squad following their shock relegation from the Championship last term.

Kellyman signed a six-year contract with Chelsea when joining the club earlier this summer, but he is very much regarded as a potential star for the future and is therefore set to be allowed to depart on loan to gain valuable experience.
