Chelsea will consider a move for a number of other players if their deal for Sevilla’s Jules Kounde falls through.

The France international has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge over the past year and a £55 million fee has reportedly been agreed, but recent rumours have suggested that Barcelona are increasingly confident of landing the centre-back.

If that does happen, the Blues will look to a number of other options, according to 90min.

The report claims that Villarreal’s Pau Torres is one name on their shortlist, alongside RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol.

Gvardiol is one of the players Chelsea could look to

The pair both impressed for their respective sides last season, and have also been linked with the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United.

Chelsea, who have already signed Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli this summer, are also keeping tabs on Bayern Munich duo Dayot Upamecano and Benjamin Pavard.

Tuchel lost both Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger at the end of last season, and club captain Cesar Azpilicueta has also been linked with a move away form the club.
