Chelsea have reportedly joined Arsenal in the chase to sign Celta Vigo star Nolito.
The defending Premier League champions, who currently sit 12th in the table after their opening nine fixtures, have joined their top-flight rivals in monitoring the forward’s blistering form in La Liga this term.
The 29-year-old, who has four international caps for Spain, has already scored six goals in eight league games this season to help Celta Vigo occupy second spot in the Spanish top-flight.
It is also understood that FC Barcelona have been alerted to Nolito’s talents, for which the forward scored once and assisted two goals against for Celta Vigo in their brilliant 4-1 victory last month.
Both Arsenal and Chelsea are reportedly lining up January moves for the former Barca forward, who only made five first-team appearances for the Nou Camp outfit between 2010 and 2011.
