Chelsea may prove to be one of the Premier League’s busiest clubs on deadline day, with the Blues reportedly still looking to tie up deals ahead of Tuesday’s 11pm deadline.

The La Liga pair of Saul Niguez and Jules Koundé could reportedly still arrive from Atletico Madrid and Sevilla respectively, if deals can be agreed in time.

Midfielder Saul is a target of the Blues as boss Thomas Tuchel wishes to bolster his midfield ranks.

Mateo Kovacic, Jorginho and N’Golo Kante are likely to be the club’s only three senior central midfielders for the upcoming season, with Ross Barkley, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Danny Drinkwater all out of favour and likely to depart the club.

Bakayoko spent last season on loan at Napoli, where he played 44 times.

In the meantime, AC Milan have announced the loan signing of Tiemoue Bakayoko from the Blues.

The deal is a two-year loan deal, with the option for the Italian side to make the move permanent.

The Frenchman has spent time on loan at Napoli and Monaco, as well as Milan in recent seasons having been left out in the cold by Chelsea.

During the 2018/19 campaign, Bakayoko played 42 times for the Serie A side while on loan at San Siro, scoring once.

The midfielder has only played 43 times for Chelsea since arriving in the summer of 2017 and it seems unlikely he will will on the blue shirt again after sealing a fourth loan move away.
