Liverpool and Everton are ready to join Chelsea in the chase for Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans as they look to bolster their ranks ahead of next season.
According to reports from French outlet L’Equipe (via Sport Witness), the Premier League trio are all interested in a deal for the 19-year-old, who is ‘spoilt for choice.’
The speedy midfielder could be available for around €25m (£21m) this coming summer, making it a viable deal for the English rivals.
Fans at Stamford Bridge, however, may be more interested to see the Belgium international than others, given that the Anderlecht midfielder has, at times, been compared to Blues legend Frank Lampard.
Given his box-to-box nature and goal-scoring capabilities – with 18 goals in all competitions this season – the comparisons are clear.
Whilst the Premier League, you would like to think, would be an attractive prospect for any player, there is competition from across Europe, with Ligue 1 leaders Monaco reportedly looking into a deal.
