Chelsea travel to face Leicester City when the Premier League returns on Saturday afternoon.

Enzo Maresca has enjoyed a relatively impressive start to life as the Blues’ head coach, guiding his side to five wins and four draws from their opening 11 league games.

The Italian has seen his side draw against both Manchester United and Arsenal in recent weeks, and he will be optimistic about their chances of victory when he returns to former club Leicester on Saturday.

Over the international break, Chelsea have been linked with a move for Liverpool and Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher.

According to GiveMeSport, though, the West London side are not considering a move for the Irishman as Maresca is content with his goalkeeping options.

The Blues had been linked with a move for the 25-year-old, who conceded five against England for Ireland on Sunday.

He is currently Liverpool’s second choice ‘keeper behind Alisson, but he could fall even further down the pecking order when Giorgi Mamardashvili arrives from Valencia next summer.

Kelleher has played 55 times for the Reds across all competitions in total, keeping 19 clean sheets.

With that in mind, it had been rumoured that Chelsea could look to lure the player away from Merseyside, but the report claims that the London side are not plotting a move.

Maresca is said to be happy with his current goalkeepers, namely Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen.

Mike Penders, who is currently playing for Belgian side Genk but will join Chelsea next year, has also been earmarked as the club’s future first choice ‘keeper.

Goalkeeper has become something of a problem area for the Blues in recent seasons, with the likes of Kepa Arrizabalaga, Edouard Mendy and Djordje Petrovic all failing to nail down the starting spot at Stamford Bridge.
