Chelsea are reportedly considering a £10m bid to sign Brazil international forward Alexandre Pato, according to The Telegraph.
The defending Premier League champions, who currently sit just six points above the relegation zone, are understood to have already discussed a potential January transfer for the Corinthians striker this month.
The 26-year-old, who has 28 international caps for his country, scored 15 goals in 47 appearances in all competitions whilst on loan at Sao Paulo last season.
Pato, who is also reportedly attracting interest from Liverpool and Manchester United, is wanted by Blues interim boss Guus Hiddink as an added attacking option following recent injuries to Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao.
The Brazilian also scored 63 goals in 150 games for Serie A giants AC Milan between 2007 and 2012.
