Chelsea remain unbeaten since Graham Potter took charge of the club, but The Blues are now without a win in two matches following their 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Saturday.

Potter’s side had played out a goalless draw with Brentford in their previous outing, and the lack of chances that they created against The Red Devils at Stamford Bridge will concern the former Brighton manager.

While The Blues remain unbeaten under Potter, they managed just two shots on target on Saturday, compared to United’s six.

Now, though, it appears that the club are interested in signing one of Europe’s most promising young attackers.

As reported by The Evening Standard, The Blues haven’t yet given up on their hopes of signing Dynamo Moscow’s Arsen Zakharyan.

Chelsea had reportedly agreed a deal for the attacking midfielder during the recent transfer window, but FIFA and UEFA restrictions on signing Russian players prevented the deal from being completed.

The 19-year-old has managed three goals and five assists in 17 games across all competitions for Dynamo so far this term, including a goal in the Moscow derby against Lokomotiv on Saturday.

So far, he has scored 15 goals and provided 19 assists in 64 games for the club.

Ziyech and Kai Havertz have both been linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge

The teenager remains of interest to Chelsea, who hope to complete a deal during the upcoming January window but continue to be frustrated in their efforts.

The report claims that the player is considering changing his citizenship from Russian to Armenian in an attempt to get around the sanctions currently imposed.

During the summer, Chelsea agreed a fee of £12.6 million, and they are once again prepared to meet the player’s release clause in order to sign him in January.

The player is believed to be keen on a move to Stamford Bridge, although it remains unclear whether or not the sanctions will be lifted in time.

Zakharyan was given his senior debut for the Russian national side in September last year and has since made four appearances.

A number of Chelsea’s attackers, including Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech, have been linked with moves away from the club in January.

Since taking charge, owner Todd Boehly has overseen the signings of a number of teenage stars, including Carney Chukwuemeka, Gabriel Slonina and Omari Hutchinson.
